Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RankClaim (rankclaim.com) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

RankClaim provides automated SEO auditing and managed SEO retainer services for business websites. We analyse websites for SEO issues and provide recommendations and implementation services. Service features may change over time as we improve the platform.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be duly authorised to submit any website for scanning — either as the owner or with the owner's explicit permission.

4. Payment terms

• Audit scans are charged per page at the rates displayed at time of purchase
• Monthly retainer plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis
• All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated
• Refunds are provided at our discretion within 7 days of purchase for unused services
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use RankClaim only for lawful purposes. Specifically:

• You may only submit websites you own or have explicit written permission to audit
• You may not use RankClaim to audit competitor websites without authorisation from the site owner
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our scanning infrastructure
• You may not use the service for any illegal, harmful, or deceptive purpose

6. Service availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for service interruptions outside our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual property

All RankClaim software, designs, algorithms, and content are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Scan reports and recommendations generated for your website are licensed to you for your own business use only and may not be resold or redistributed without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

RankClaim is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of — or inability to use — our service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the total fees paid by you to RankClaim in the 30 days immediately prior to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice in cases of serious breach. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your client portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges will be made.

10. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
